IBS 600 yard Colorado State Championship 2022

I just wanted to reach out and thank you for hosting a great weekend. For a rookies first time you made it very friendly and welcoming. Also want to thank all of the target crew and everyone that volunteers to help host such a great match.

I'll add I like the way it was formatted into a 2 day 16 target agg.with LG & HG inverted.
Great way to give everyone and both classes an equal shot at the conditions.

It's a State Championship Match and should require more commitment and effort to win.

Nice job to all that put the match on and made it work.

Thanks Dave.

On Saturday, Jerry White shot a 1.7" agg, besting the previous record by about .2" !!!!!!

On Sunday, his win margin was .003", a close race indeed!

Thanks for the kind words

I want to thank the entire WCRSC crew for their hard work this past weekend. The conditions were tough and they still got the job done quickly and well. Shooting with a 5.25 MOA hold in rain coming down sideways is an interesting experience!

Thanks Shawn.
The rifle I used this weekend was a product of Northridge and Shawn’s expertise. You could not ask for a better made custom rifle or a more knowledgeable gunsmith to be on your team.

HaHa! Thanks Jason. I had to sit out the first part of the season so it was really good to get back in the saddle. I’ve missed some of the travel but especially the opportunity to touch base with old friends. I’m looking forward to a more active season next year.

@jvw2008 @Mulligan nice shooting to you both.

Being from relatively flat country we called it the Great Divide back in the day.

At one time I had about 10 livestock trucks hauling cattle hogs sheep and horses mostly between the Missouri river and the west coast then border to border north and south.

We used to load a lot in Spanish Fork UT, Elko NV and had a customer there at Loma CO as well.
I've always enjoyed being in that area. Used to put on a LOT of miles in those days.

Fast trucks, chrome, lights and loud pipes.... Traveling some of the most beautiful country in the world. I don't want to relive it but I miss it.

It blows my mind people would rather fly than see this great country.

Hope to shoot out there someday, it's on my list.

It would be awesome to have you join us Dave.
