IBS 200-300 Score Nationals September 20th and 21st

A good time with some great shooters and certainly some tough conditions. The scores and X count tells the story…. If you haven’t been bitten by the SNAKE it’s because you haven’t been here to shoot!

Stuart, Mrs Pat, Jim, Tammy, Mickey, Buck, target crew and a few others at RRWC did a great job!

I have to say it again! How about Jim Cline gaining enough points for Hall Of Fame. I’ve never seen a better Match Director, shooter and competitor! First Class all the way! Congratulations once again Jim!

Gene, Thanks for all the compliments. I truly love running a good fair match and watching people enjoy themselves. How about Kevin Clark (Rookie shooter) all the way from Vermont coming down and showing some of his skills. He will surely be one to watch in the near future. The Female shooters are also having a blast and your own Julz Hancock with her first National female shooter win in her FIRST ever Nationals! Never ever count out Will Till and his ability to shoot. His first shot out of his hunter gun this year and almost clouded the whole range with all the dust he blew out of it and WON the Hunter class as well as the 2-gun! Great shooting guys and great memories made!
DIE WITH MEMORIES, NOT DREAMS!

Congrats to all for good shooting in awful conditions, a shout out to you too Gene for some great shooting. All the folks from the Snake are salt of the earth people, being able to share their company makes the beating the snake gives bareable.;). Great folks, tough place to shoot.

I really can’t say enough about the work the rattlesnake crew has put into there very tough range. It’s definitely a worthy place to settle many different national championships!

I’m super happy for Jimmy earning his HOF spot and glad it was at such a great place to shoot in really tough conditions, there’s no doubt he’s EARNED his place amongst the greatest of all time!

We all had a great time at the range, out in the town and spending time with far off friends and folks I consider family. Like @JMayo said, if you ain’t having fun you’re just not a fun person.

Congrats to Will “real deal” Till earning his first HOF points winning the Hunter class, I’m proud of you young man.

The rookie battle is coming down to the wire between Brent Cook and Kevin Clark, both great guys and great representatives of the future of our sport!

Hopefully everyone made it home safely, we were blessed with a great championship and fellowship all weekend, can’t wait until the next one!

I have to say that is a very thoughtful TROPHY for me to receive and took a lot of time and thinking to create. I now have it proudly on display on my trophy shelf in the loading shed. I also have the silver 30BR bullet trophy Mike Clayton made me and the broom Dewey Hancock gave me after the Palmetto match this year. Many people might not understand the true meaning these things have to me as they are all very thoughtful gifts! Thanks again Johnny for your time and appreciation going into something hand carved and painted!

It was great to come back to Rattlesnake and see Mickey and the gang again, along with my extended family from the Score community. Honestly the nicest and greatest group of men and women I've ever met.
You can tell a lot of sweat and effort went into making the range and the event a great weekend for everyone. Great hussle from the target crew in some very hot and humid conditions. And thank you to Stuart and the Chefs! Everyone looks forward to the breakfast and lunchs you guys lay out.

Special Thank You to Jim and Tammy. I've always been amazed at how you can direct a match, call the line, mentor, score, resolve issues, and shoot (two guns), while also fielding a dozen questions an hour (mostly from me ;) and keep everything on time with a great attitude and no hickups. You always place the competitors and the integrity of the competition above all else. Your a great couple and a great team, I appreciate all that you do for us. Congratulations on making the HOF brother you most certainly have earned it. And thank you for being a patient mentor and a good friend. I'll see you in Orangeburg next month.
Bill.
