IBS 1000 Yard Nationals Results from Deep Creek

Congratulations to Carrol Lance and Tim Gonnerman . You guys are first class members of this sport and you support our organization very much and on behave of of the IBS , The LRC , Donna and myself congratulations to you both.

To the Deep Creek staff congratulations to you on a very well plan and ran event you proved with out a shadow of a doubt IBS nationals can be done in Montana as well as any where else . For all the shooters from looking at the results I think you got to see the range being very nice for small groups and being very challenging as well which prove this range is as tough as any of the others we shoot . Thank all the shooters and sponsors and everyone that worked there butts off to make sure this was a world class event . WELCOME TO THE BIG TIME Deep Creek because you deserve it .

As a rookie shooter I learned a lot and there were some humbling moments indeed.

The Montana group are a First Rate group of people and shooters. And the Deep Creek range was not a walk in the park, day 2 in particular showed some very challenging conditions and it is manifested in a good number of the targets that were shot.

To all those who made this event possible and so well organized I want to express my personal thanks.

Kindest Regards,

Thanks David once again. I hope people are finally starting to realize what a great job David and Co. do. David does an excellent job as the statistician, and it was definitely on display with how smoothly scores where displayed, and as far as I am aware, zero errors for the weekend.

A huge shout out to Shawn, Tom, David, Alex, and everyone else that I'm missing. Nationals was run about as smoothly and efficiently as it could have. Everything ran at an excellent pace, and the pit crew did a phenomenal job. An awesome weekend.

We want to say thanks to the guys that put all the hard work into this event, it was our first 1000 match and everyone was so helpful from the guys running it to the shooters. I can’t imagine a match of this size going more smoothly and feeling more welcome. Great times with great folks was the theme. O and don’t believe that range can’t throw wind and mirage at you, least for a couple of newbies it had tough moments;). Congratulations to the winners, impressive aggs.

What a perfectly ran Nationals! I don’t believe there were many mix ups whatsoever. Alex, the short bald man (Tom), the short ginger fella (Shawn), Torg and company completely had it working on all cylinders. There were some great targets shot and some not so great, but I can tell you as beautiful as the range was and perfect conditions at times... it is NOT a wind tunnel. The GA boys are back home and still laughing and reminiscing. A big THANK YOU to Vapor Trails for Saturday’s meal, Deep Creek for having us and all of the wonderful sponsors for that phenomenal prize table. Great job to all of the winners for showing out with 85 or so damn good shooters there! Thanks again to all involved from the Ga Boys!! Can’t wait for the next one.
