I would like to thank all the "little people"!

(Please read this with a smile and a sense of humor) I would like to thank the little people that help make my win this past Saturday at Boyle County for the 200 yard unlimited shoot (didn't do so well in the 100 so we won't talk about that) taking 1st place is always a goal that sometimes seems unobtainable but hey, thank you @gunsandgunsmithing for the wonderful flags and the awesome tuner, also want to thank Ronnie long for taking a used action and stock and putting a very accurate Bartlein barrel on it so that even I could win one (hopefully not the last time). Have to also thank my mentor @John Beauchamp for putting up with me asking all the questions and spending time at the range with me to get me in this UBR mess err I mean great sport!
This was only my 5th match ever so I am a happy camper! Now to see if I can keep it together this coming Saturday in Somerset at Jackies place!
It is just so good to meet the people of this sport.
See ya at the next shoot!

Well I thought this would generate a lot more discussion as I know I'm new and very "lucky" to have won the 200 yard match. I thought we would talk about the learning curve and the generosity of the folks that shoot and share their knowledge, also the fact that some very good shooters @Greyfox, Richard Alford, Randy Holland, Jr. Rigsby and my buddy @John Beauchamp were there shooting the unlimited.
With all that being said I do appreciate the well wishes and the wealth of knowledge that is passed on. I also know there are going to be a lot more lows and hopefully highs to come!

Yes John keeps reminding me of this! He was laughing at me for the # of sighters I was taking because Rick Fox was saying there wasn't much wind and I thought there was, he has lots of experience and I don't ;-)
