I tried to solve this about a year ago...need Picatinny extension

i have an integral pica tinny on a custom action and need several more inches of length. I need to have the additional length at the same level as the integral. Extensions I have seen are 2 levels and would raise me up to high. Only thing I can do as of now is add a small front picatinny to give me the length I need with my scope. Scope is EXTERNAL adjustment and the front is in a fixed location.

thanx to all that try to help. Ideal solution would be a Picatinny that had female pic on the bottom and male on the top to minimize the height rise when coupling to existing integral pic.

Seems like if I understand your problem correctly, an AR style low profile picatinny rail would solve your dilemma. It would bolt on your existing fixed pic rail but offer more top slot use being a longer surface.

Do like they did when they used those scopes back in the day- put the front base out on the barrel

You could do this.
Started with an AR adapter. Cut the top flat and mounted a section of Pictinny rail. Lowest option
