I think the Area419 Powder Scoop is awesome looking

But, I cannot really afford spending $65 on a scoop right now SO, I took a different approach.
Really needed a longer scoop so, I could reach into scale easier and one that prevented less powder splash when dropping and trickling.
WalMart sells measuring scoops for a set at $2.
So, the problem was it wouldnt stand up on its on the cup so, I had/wanted to modify it.
A few holes to lighten it and a few hits with a file got it to where I wanted.
Next was getting it to a even weight. I settled on 190grains (scale wasnt warmed up)
Worked out pretty good for $2.

Turns out my wife had a couple of partial measuring cup sets. She said the half cup is like my half inch open end wrenches - never can find one, or never have enough of them.

Anyhow, the 2/3 cup looks like a good candidate and I'm gonna give it atry under the AutoThrower.

OP: thanks for the prodding.

Btw, I choose to use a 1/4 cup scoop if that helps you any. A 2/3 cup scoop would be a pretty big scoop.
