Looks like I'm going to have to. With me being green in the reloading world, I didn't think about this. Once I acquired some Bergers, I figured out they can be loaded out further than the Hornady HPBTs I've been using. That's good. That allows me to place them in a more desirable place in the neck, BUT.... They're too long to load in the internal box mag. COAL at jam is 2.940. Box magazine length is approximately 2.875.
All that said, the rifle is a Howa 1500 chambered in 6.5 Creedmoor. I like the looks of the PTG bottom metal. It seems that the general consensus of the Internet is PTG is no bueno though. It doesn't look like there's a whole lot of options for the Howa. PTG and Atlasworks. Is there anyone that's had experience with the PTG bottom metal? I like the looks of it and the latch better on the PTG than the AW bottom metal.
