With the volume of wound channels made by the small ones I wouldnt be caught anywhere near the sights of the pipsqueaks or any other rifle.I dont think you have to take exception as that is the name on every forum when referring to small calibers.There isnt a guy on here that doesnt have a .223.I happen to love my midget which is the .218 bee. It takes 11 grains of powder behind a 45 grain bullet pushing it to nearly 2700 fps.Gee maybe it isnt so slouchy afterall. We love the .22's and sub calibers.Look at calhoons 14 caliber chambering.We all have great respect for all cartridges big and small.

Hey, whats wrong with the given solution? COOL GUNS!!! Little smoke, little heat , less noise, not too many pennies per bang, and the most horse power per pound!!! Ive got a 223, actually 2, neat easy to shoot any old time, doent rattle the windows or frighten the livestock. And better yet Ive got a 204, that Ive stolen from my son(yes there can be justice in the world) thats good for crows, the occasional fox etc. Theyre the cool guns. All those other things w/ recoil pads, that take a half cup of powder per excursion, mean Ive got to check the fences, make sure the dogs are put up, warn my wife and call the local fire department. Yeah, COOL GUNS got a lot going for them. ;D ;D ;D
