I need your help

We have identified that the primary root cause for bullet failure is excessive RPM. We are working to create charts that will clearly show the RPM limit for each bullet. To do this I need to collect a tremendous amount of data.

If you have had a Berger bullet fail to reach the target you can help me. All I need to know is the bullet, velocity, twist rate and how many failed out of the shots fired. You can either post this information here or email it to me at eric.stecker@bergerbullets.com.

This specific request for assistance will be on several forums so please provide your information only once.

If you have previously reported bullet failure details to different posted requests for information please provide the bullet, velocity, twist rate and how many failed out of the shots fired again.

It is important that you only relay details from your personal experience. Let your shooting buddy give us his information.

I know that there are other factors that can produce bullet failure however excessive RPM is the root cause for most bullet failures and is something that we can clearly define and easily avoid.

Thank you in advance for your assistance on this project as it will save many shooters from frustration.

Regards,
Eric Stecker

Eric,

Thanks for undertaking this study. The results will be very illuminating for all shooters--varminters, hunters, as well as competitors.
