I need some help!!

I just lost my mom and i am the oldest son so it all falls on me!! I do not have any family who will help me with the bills i now have. So i am going to sell off some of my gun and reloading equipment. If there is anything that i have that you want just make me a offer. I will get it all together tommorow and post it. It will be cheap as i really need the money right now!!Thanks for your time!! And if i can sell enough i will also make a contribution here as i have not this year.

I can relate. It has helped me to remember that none of the stuff we have is ours forever, and that the stuff we have is only one form of wealth, so converting it over to pay our needs is one means of God's blessing. Put another way, we got to use our wealth (guns, reloading stuff) for fun, then when we NEED it, it was there to use for our needs. It is not easy, and that is not what I am saying. Rather, it has helped me to think of it this way as I deplete my gun room.

FWIW so far every gun I have sold has gone to a great guy or gal and I feel really good knowing they now can enjoy it, use it and that helps.

I will pray for you, and though I am tight myself, I will look over your list and see if I might NEED something..

I feel for you bud. In case it helps, let us know your location. If you do not have someone you trust, whether church, govt, etc. start looking for them. Would not hurt to give your age, information on your new dependents, .etc. Certainly no promises, but if we have more information, you will not know what is possible.

I have gone through this type of thing myself. In addition to the grief and hurt there is the cold hard reality that money is needed. As mentioned find somebody that is totally trusted. I would start with Church and Christian organizations, possibly school alumni, local university legal aid. A face to face with somebody who cares and is honest will help - get somebody not subject to the problem to take a look and don't jump at deals. We will put you on our prayer list.

It has been a couple of weeks now and things are starting to get back to normal for me. At one time i was so stressed with all of the phone calls texts and all of the relatives to deal with i just wanted to be left alone. Also i got some good legal advice from a couple of guys here on this site. That was something i really needed!! Thanks again to all!!
