so here i am with a fun little project. its a mauser 98 that started as an 8mm mauser. now its 45acp and runs off 1911 magazines. here is where i need some help. i need a sight set both front and rear. the last one of these i built i put an xs scout rail and red dot. the one before that i put a burris fast fire mounted on the rear position of the receiver.
what sights do you use on your mauser 98
if i go iron sights i would need both front and rear with bases or mounts. the barrel has no front ramp and i do not have the rear sight base. i would not mind an iron sight set up
if i go for a scope it would need to be solid and preferably picatinny rail
the thing is i need opinions on "good " mounts or sights. what would you do?
