I need help with loads for 30HBR

I bought a Kodiak barreled action in 30 HBR. I'd like to shoot it in it's new stock but I can't find any load data to start with. It looks like it's the 30x51. Any help would be appreciated.

I thought of trying a 308 "lite load" with a Sierra 125 but thought I'd check here first.

Hey guys. It's a 13.5 twist? I just spun it onto the action. Going to verify twist after dinner. .332 neck. I have a fresh batch of Lake City 308 that I'll size down, turn and sort for a start. If it looks like it will shoot, I'll order some Lapua. I scoped the barrel and it looks "lightly used", as reported by the previous owner. It should be a fun little project. Thanks for the input ! Edit: Twist is 13.5ish using tight brush method.

Start out with 34 grains of varget with the 125 and go up from there. You will find it. Make sure you run a seating depth test before getting to involved with powder. The 125 can be a little finicky.

I had my numbers mixed up. Start with 44 of varget not 34. My barrel can be ran as hot as 47.8 but do not start there.

In my 30x47 I shoot IMR 4895, 42 grs with 125 (2850 fps) and 150/55 gr (2600 fps) bullets because that is all I can get into the case but it shoots bug holes. I shoot 41 grs Varget with 168 Sierra Match Kings. Mainly use this rifle now for deer hunting. 125 Ballistic Tips are awesome on deer.
