i need help fellas

I've been shooting my rifle twice a week for quite a while now. Sometimes 100 yards and sometimes 950 yards. God its a joy. I've been an avid ground hog hunter and shooter for 5 years now. Shooting an occasional coyote or pesky varmints in my yard. I'm ready to move onto something bigger. I live in eastern central Ohio. I need a hunt at a reasonable price. I hope to reach out there a ways. I hope to not spend all my vacation time traveling. Please I need info.

Not that I'm going to be able to help you cause I live in NJ, but I'm not even sure exactly what you're asking for?

I hunt annually in NC for Whitetail. Buffalo Creek Outfitters, Bertie Camp are the ones my Brother and I use. $2K for 5 days with a 5 Deer limit. I got 4 last year and should have had 5 :-[. Longest shot was a miss at 732, raining heavy and my rangefinder wouldn't work and I guessed wrong :-[. I got one at 438 yards and the shortest was 35 yards. Lots of Deer and the one I missed was a biggie for my standards but not trophy like for others. We have been down enough that the crew are like family to us. We hunt over bait on shooting lanes but beware if you don't drop them were they stand the recovery is tough and not always successful. The woods are thicker than the hair on a Dog's hind leg! PM me if you think you are interested and I can put in a word for you.

You might want to look into a PA bear hunt. We have some of the largest black bears in the US and the population is growing ever year. Best places are north central and north eastern area of the State. They are by no means an easy hunt and most the the terrain is difficult where the good places are located.

No rifle in Ohio cept small animals. I wanta hunt predators. I prefer longer shots. I live in eastern central Ohio. I'm not all about spending half my vacation driving and I'm not thinking bout flying.

Not predator but you could look at some of the game ranches in Iowa. Lots of big deer and chances to shoot anywhere from 50-1k and beyond.

Long shots in PA? U guys walk in and camp or anything?

Bears like heavy cover so short range shorts are the norm however with that said, I've seen them on power / pipelines where long to extremely long shots are possible - certainly not the norm but you can see them anywhere.

I know one guy who is a long range specialist who sets up on one side of a mountain and scans the other side shooting in the range of 500 yards or so with a 300 Win Mag heavy barrel high mag scope - again not the norm but it can be done.

We have cabin in the mountains and walk in but as I said before, the terrain is difficult - very steep and rocky.
