I need a flintlock blued

Can anyone here disassemble, blue, and reassemble an L&R lock? Or know someone who can? @Petey Boom thread got me wanting to finish my GPR...

Anybody that blues can do it. What you'll need to do is polish everything first. Browning would be more appropriate.

A friend picked up a new TC flintlock a few weeks ago.
Has a brown Cerakote on it that actually looks really sharp!

Check with @Stan Taylor at Douglas Barrels about bluing. His guy does a nice job!

Sadly i'm not that impressed with the bluing from Shilen.

Actually, I only need the lock done. I replaced the factory Lyman lock.

You could rust blue it yourself if you are a patient man.

Polish the steel then Cold blue and then rub back with oil saturated 0000 steel wool.

Sadly i'm not that impressed with the bluing from Shilen.

Got one from Shilen, blued and engraved with the caliber designation.
