Thanks! It was a big reason to buy this place. There are a couple roof tops I can see, about a mile off. Otherwise, it’s just treetops in the valley.

I finished what I needed to do on my addition last Wednesday, so I built a dining room table for a friend of my wife .48”wide by 11’ 2” long. Red Oak. Just finished it.

Thanks. I just winged it. We don’t get much snow down here. The long overhanging roofs keep the hail from breaking the windows. We get the odd “golf ball” sized hail with the bad thunderstorms. They also help with the blazing summer sun!

i know ive worked in 120 and 130 degree heat in the past but dont know if i could do it now. there is a solar farm going up 10 miles from my house i could have went to work at starting in July but i didnt think i could take the heat as its all outside 10 per day.

I told the wife before I started: “I think I have one more in me” . I think I was right! Throwing around 2x12s isn’t as easy as it used to be! They’ve gotten heavier!

I straightened out some copper tubing and stuck a Funnel on top to make a 40” drop tube for my black powder stuff. The stuff some of you guys have posted makes me a bit envious of your skills.
