After graphiting and neck sizing (redding) 100 Starline Small Primer cases, I was washing the black dust off my hands and remembered my .243 Win Lee collet die. I use it for standard win and my 243 AI.
I did a quick set up and adjustment for pull pressure (neck tension). I have now neck sized 10 Hornady factory cases left from shooting the Match ELD-M ammo. I see no changes to the case geometry. I think I remember that the lee collet dies don't touch anything below the neck.
Has anyone else successfully used the stock .243 win Lee Collet Die (not bushing die) to resize 6mm Creedmoor brass.
Note: I also keep a Redding 6MM Creedmoor Body Die for use as needed to maintain geometry when needed.
Thanks in advance for any guidance or opinions.
