Lee Collet Die

I use Lee collet dies for a number of calibers. I just built a 243 Winchester improved and am asking if anyone has used a 243 Collet die for this improved 243. Since the die only contacts the neck I wondered if this die would work for the new case. The neck is still the same distance from the base . I have dies built for the chamber but like the way the Lee die works. Any thoughts? Thanks for looking.

try it and see.It might work as the shoulder actuates it .

I'm using my 260Rem Lee Collet Die to size the necks on my Improved 260. Works fine.

The Lee collet die will work on the AI just fine. The seater die also works as well.

My Lee Collet Dies are all actuated by the base of the collet where it contacts the shell holder.

Measure case, base to datum, before and after using collet die. The die might bump the shoulder, if it does just use a shim (thin washer).
