I have most of a Remington XP-100

I recently came into possession of a Remington XP-100. It is disassembled but complete except for the action. I have the bolt, trigger, factory 221 Fireball barrel, and factory stock.

Should I try to find an action and have it put back together or just say the heck with it?

I have not owned one of these since they first came out many years ago and have no idea how popular or unpopular they are today. Also getting the bolt and different action to match up might not be feasible either.

I am open to suggestions either on here or by PM.

XPs are fairly popular, however mainly for the action and trigger group. Most of us that are running them have custom barrels and stocks. The bolt has value especially if a guy wants to build a switch barrel. So does the trigger, however a plastic stock and factory barrel aren't worth a ton.

A complete pistol in 221 is usually worth about the same as an action, bolt and trigger.

What you could do is buy a 308 bolt face action and build yourself a nice switch barrel rig! I really like all of my XPs
