I have mostly just lurked in and out here for a long while and decided to have built a new 6BR.which i have received this past week.i have turned necks till my finger's are too score to scratch my backside with, but all in all it is a nice rifle and i started breakin last evening...i will keep ya posted if your interested....LW

Congratulations! Why did you decide to go to a neck turning cartridge? By all means give us more details on your new gun and what you are shooting.

I used a tight neck because thats was the reamer the builder had, thats the best reason i can give you...
As to the rifle: its a panda actioned full short range BR set up.yes i said short range!!. I shoot both group and score at 100-200-300 yards.I'm just not a PPC kinda guy nor even a 30BR kind.I like the different stuff always have.when the weather lets up I will report on the accuracy and other findings..thanks again for your interest...LW

6 BR for "point-blank" benchrest ... very unusual!

I'll be really interested to know how things work out for your new rig. I am waiting for delivery of a LV gun for 100-200, and it's also chambered for 6br, cut for the Lapua brass. Glad to see I'm not alone in bucking conventional thought. What is your neck dimension? Is your rig a LV or a HV?

LV with a .262 neck.i shot it last evening and found it did decent until the brass formed in good,,then the "shoulder bump thing" set me back in accuracy department..i must play more this evening,,more reports to come as i get bench time...

and Mr. Garfield dint make me come to VT to show you first hand what "point blank" means...........LOL......
