Revelation was the store brand for Western Auto stores. Used to be a lot of them in the 50's - 70's. I still have a box of 12-gauge shells from them.

Shot a bunch of those when I was kid in the seventies. Haven’t seen that box or heard that name in decades. Fun!

These Shorts remind me of my childhood.

We had an river camp on the Sabine River at Deweyville. My brothers and I each had a single shot 22.

My Dad would not let us shoot anything but Shorts or Longs, no Long Rifle.he said they were too powerful.

I still have my Marlin 22 with the micro groove barrel.

There was a Western Auto Store in my hometown of Rogers, AR. I remember it as a general hardware store. In the 50's, I purchased a gazillion of .22 bullets from them...shorts, longs, and long rifle.

I didn't have a .22 back then but I lived next door to Pete's auto glass in the 60's in Rogers AR

Looks like a Federal head stamp. Western Auto was cool. I've got dad's old Western Auto garden tiller. My nephew used it a lot. I tried to give it to him and he declined. Said he'd walked a thousand miles behind it. I told him he's lucky I had nothing but a shovel and fork.

This thread reminded me that somewhere I have a box of Revelation 16 guage shells with purple hulls. If I am not mistaken, this brand was sold in other retail franchises besides Western Auto. I recall guys buying them thinking they got a bargain at such a cheap price thinking the box read "Remington".
