Gotta go with Dusty! Hobo oil is Wayyyyyyy better!
If you have ever hunted in cold weather with Rem-oil, you would change your mind quick. Two of my buddies rifles froze up with that stuff.Never used it Bart, but In my mind, it's a tough road to follow to be any better than REM OIL , and it certainly can't be any thinner , ( for getting into areas where others may be too thick ?
What Ledd Slinger said!If you have ever hunted in cold weather with Rem-oil, you would change your mind quick. Two of my buddies rifles froze up with that stuff.
nice watch pard!!!
Some things you are better off not knowing. What's it made out of? Sperm whale oil or something?
I heard that Singer sewing machine oil originally was sperm whale oil. Old timers claimed no other lubricant since had the same magical properties, but I suppose there are synthetics now that are better.

And where's the fun in that?I'm sure you can get that from the MSDS.
I rub on a very slight amount with my fingers around shoulder. Helps form the brass.@BartsBullets, how are you using it fireforming cases?
Taste like crap I do know that.
So did Caster Oil when mom made you take it. Man up.........LOLTaste like crap I do know that.
That’s what she saidI heard it's a nice marinade on meat. lol
I oil my 22-250 cases when fireforming "bulletless" into 250 Ackley Improved. I've used a thin film of Kroil and Rem Oil with equal results. My hunch was the lube would promote ready pushback of the case against the bolt face, allowing the shoulder to properly fill out the AI chamber. I get sharper corners on the shoulder that way for a given powder charge.I rub on a very slight amount with my fingers around shoulder. Helps form the brass.
Just curious, how do you know what crap taste like?Taste like crap I do know that.
