Gander Mountain had federal gold medal match small rifle primers at the Lake Park Florida store 5 or 6 years ago for $2.50 per hundred. My friends that I shot close range BR with told me about the deal and my load for 6 PPC was based on them so I went to look. They weren't marked and I asked the kid at the counter what was the price and held up the box. He comes over and scans the bar code and tells me they are $2.50 per hundred, and then adds that you only have to buy 100. I carry 3 of the 1000 round boxes (all they had left) to the counter to pay for them, and he tells me 2 more times that I only have to buy 100. After my transaction is complete I look at him and tell him if there were 10 more of the big boxes (1000 round) I would buy them too. He is shaking his head as I am leaving.

I picked up a 1000 cci200's at a auction the other day for 15 dollars.. kinda ticked about it because it was 3 times what the guy had gave for them when he bought them..

I met a gentleman at the range a couple weeks ago. He commented about looking for H4895. I told him that I had a couple pounds at home that I don’t really use it anymore. He then said that he had small rifle primers that he didn’t really need. Met him the next day, and he brought 900 BR4’s for me. No problem, we can work outa trade. He called me today looking for large rifle primers. I went to check my supply. Between BR2’s and Federal match I have about 4000. Yes, I’ll help you out on some. It’s not a bad thing to work together.
