Hydraulic Forming Dies

Hi

I am interested in purchasing a set of Hornady hydraulic forming dies for the Dasher, but before I order I just want to make sure everybody is happy with these dies.

If someone could, I'd like to see a picture of standard 6mmBR case, one that has been hydraulic formed, and then a cased fired several times. I'd like to see the difference, or how close they go to forming. Doesnt matter if Dasher, BRX... etc

Thanks

who is making your die set...

you should have a mechanical sketch of the reamer an 3 fired cases from your chamber sent to the die maker

you'll want all 3... forming die, FL sizer, an bullet seat . although the bullet seat Could be optional
if the forming die doesn't make the case at least 97% perfect ... the FL die will

you'll not notice any difference in you poi between 1st an 2nd firing, after that its all about neck sizing...

2nd from the left is a .243 an the rest were hydraulically formed

I have the full compliment of 6mmBR and 6mmDasher Redding dies, so just need the hydraulic die for forming.

I also have the reamer schematic for my chamber.

I wouls most likely run the cases through the Dasher FL die after they have been through the hydraulic forming die.

The picture is worth a thousand words. Seems like it has worked very well on your cases.

Anyone else have experience with them? You like the results achieved?
