Hybrid100V?

Correct me if I am wrong here please. Looks like H100V is right around that H4350 burn rate yet I do not see or hear of anyone using this powder in cases that use that type of burn rate. Is just not used or maybe does not work? too new?
It has a real low Heat of Explosion potential, KJ/KG like the 100 series of VV powders as well. kinda surprised it has not come up once in any accuracy discussion.

To me it looks like it is faster and does bring pressures up alittle with better velocity and the pressure rise isn't ridiculous either. I am waiting for it to show up at my distributer in my area. I want to try it for sure.

My .22XC will shoot any of the 4350's, Reloader 17 being my go to powder, but I switched to using Hybrid 100V, using 75 grain A-Max bullets with good results.. I notice less barrel heat verses using Reloader 17 or any of the 4350's...

Tried it in the 6.5Creedmoor and got great velocity but crappy accuracy. Use it for practice stuff now.

I was thinking it would be good in cases like the 6XC, 243, 260, 6X47L, and others that like the 4350 powders. But never hear of anyone using it or even trying it for that matter.

+1 to that. Back to h4350.

I've tried it in several calibers but really haven't found anything that it shines in yet. Hoping to find something.

I tried it a few years ago in a 6.5X284.. Got a little over 100fps more at the top end but couldn't get it to really group at any level and the best for ES was just above 30 if I remember right.. I still have 1 1/5 lbs setting here..

Only tried it in my .275 Rigby. Bought 1 pound, thought it was the sheet in a 7x57 so bought an 8 pound jug and now it's no good! :o

I bought a pound to mess with in a 25-06ai then saw a bunch of pressure complaints and decided to leave it on my shelf to collect dust.

The guy I bought my 6slr from was using it and said it was hammering when loaded to 3100-3150fps...I found 4831sc and it has shot so good when Hybrid100v became available I wasn't even interested.

That lot switch really screwed things up unfortunately.

Russ,
I bought a couple of 8lb jugs of the stuff several years ago, and have tried it in 6x47, 6XC, 6.5x47, 260 Imp 30*, 7-08 Imp 30*, 284, 280 AI, & 30-'06. It might give decent accuracy in the '06 - need to try it again with S175MKs & Berger 185 Juggernaut & Hybrid. In everything else, I got decent velocity, but mediocre accuracy.

Since PV has had a decent supply of IMR4350 on hand, plus the introduction of IMR's new Enduron powder line, the motivation to keep spending precious range time to find a use for it has slacked-off quite a bit in my case.

However, I built myself a pretty nice '06 on a trued LA 700, 26" Bartlein 1-11tw 5R in rem varmint contour, Timney trigger, NF steel 20 MOA sloped base with a 30mm Nikon 4-16x50, all in a McM A3-5 stock with PTG stealth DBM & a couple of Accurate Mag '06 5-shot mags. If H100V will provide decent accuracy in this rifle, it'd be a good way to use it up.
