Hybrid 100 Powder

Currently using it in for XTC use in a 6.5Creedmoor. Meters well. No negatives that I know of.

The only problem I encountered was related to temperatures with it, in my 25/284, and a 22/250 AI... seemed awful sensitive to me temperature wise........
Will produce lots more velocity though....

that is a bummer to hear...

working up coyote/hunting load and want something real stable...

maybe I'll try 4831SC...

hunt from 75 degrees to -20 in Feb and cold months...

Hybrid does do well... very happy with it so far...

I am using it in my 6.5x57 MI with outstanding results. I do believe the temp. will make a difference though. I noticed some vertical when shooting it Sunday in a 600 yd comp. The temp was 50 degrees colder then when I developed the load and I think I needed more powder to keep the groups tight.Still, the load let me tie for first in score but got creedemored into second place so I will just test it and develop a winter load.

I have used HV100 in the 243 WSSM. It gives me about 100 fps more velocity. With the 90 grain Berger bullet, I get 3350 fps and decent groups.

Tenring, I tried this powder,H-100V) with some 121 Gr. bullets via a 1:8" twist Broughton barrel fit to my HV rifle: excellent precision, group size), but, compared to the new IMR 4007, disappointing velocity. :, The H-100V was a full 350 FPS behind the IMR 4007, which, via the 24" barrel produced 2820 FPS,a heavily COMPRESSED load) and shot well enough for a 3Rd place finish in the IBS registered IA State HV Championship this past summer. All of the other competitors were using the somewhat more conventional 6PPC in combination with 65-68 Gr. bullets. Of note, the 121 Gr. bullet/DASHER combination delivered one of only two 100 Yd. AGGs, "in the twos". Then, at 200 Yd. was one of only two rifles to keep all five,five-shot) groups under one inch - even for Iowa, conditions were somewhat challenging. With this barrel and chamber, it was not possible, with either powder, to cram enough [into the DASHER case] to create excessive pressure. Bottom line - in the BR case, IMR 4007 is worthy of consideration, while the H-100V comes up short. Good shootin'! RG
