I want to start shooting in an open class at my local gun range. I found a rifle and need some help. 40x Remington, Hutsherson barrel in 6 PPC, maybe a McMillan stock with a 8-32x50 Burris scope. Comes with foster seat die and hornady re sizer bushing die and 35 brass. Gun is $1200.00 but I think I can get it for $1000. Is this worth the money. It is in a pawn shop. The owner called the previous owner and the gun was built by a gun smith name Ron Prachyl. Is this a good deal and has anyone heard of this gunsmith? I was told that he works in the Dallas Texas area.
