Hunting apps

Just made my first time ever hunting app purchase... went with onX. Looking for any "tricks" any of you may have learned during your experience with the hunting app. I took two days trying to decide between this app and another. Sure they all have their "pros and cons" but, really think this one will meet my needs. I did opt for the "Elite" option.

I went with BaseMap a couple of years ago. Their Pro edition allows you to see the location of any friends you are hunting with (provided they are also using the pro edition). That is big with me. I have not explored OnX but, from what I can see, the BaseMap basic version seems to give you the same tools as any of the OnX versions.
The BaseMap pro version runs about $40 per year.
