Hunter rifle scope value

I am looking for a fair price on a premier converted 6x Leupold tactical scope. A friend has one but is unsure what it is worth and honestly neither do I. Any help is appreciated. Talon

It wouldn't be worth much to me. I had a Premier converted VX3 to first focal plane with a custom reticle. The reticle broke and I had fight with Leupold for several months to get them to remove all the Premier parts and had to purchase a new Leupold reticle and have it installed. It may be my perception but the Premier parts seem like that break all the time. But in all fairness when it was right the scope was top notch the way Premier set it up.

Its value will depend on its combined features, its age, how popular it is among the shooters who use that type of scope. Leupold has made and still makes a fairly large number of 6x scopes. Look up the value of the scope as it is advertised new. If it's in excellent shape, deduct 25% and you've probably got a fair price figure. The work done by Premier has little or no value - unless you find someone who just has to have whatever feature Premier added to the sights.

you can buy a new leopold 6x tactical for about $469.00, not sure why you want a premier 6x mod, since Leupold no longer recognizes premier mods as they once did when Dick Thomas was alive. I have bought off of gunbroker in the last year 2 leupold m-8 6x scopes with AO and target turrets-neither of them costed more than $275.00 one had a terrible reticle so I sent it to leupold and for $65.00 had the reticle I wanted installed. So if you really want the scope this guy has offer him $275-300.00!
