Saw it yesterday, deputy had pulled over a car. Got driver out to look in car, young guy pulled his phone. I was leaving store nearby, asked the deputy if he wanted me to stay and watch. Said no, I have this guy on my car cam and body cam. The driver put his phone away, after giving me a look.

he is just pissed because I was going to hunt here
he also said he has kids with him to bad cause he sure is teaching them some very bad habits

This is an older thread, but I've had a couple beers and need to comment again...I am a ND resident and landowner. I know who this landowner is. A friend of mine had a run in with his kid. Hunting is becoming a sport for the wealthy. Property rights are being eroded. Taxes keep going up. If I didn't post my land I wouldn't have anywhere to hunt. People need to respect land owners.

Ok, I think I am following. Not taking any side here...

I live in the east and posted land is a way of life. I wish it were not so, but it is, and has ben for 40 years.

My question is this: It appears the landowner in question likely posted his land. Fine. But he didn't post his neighbors property, which by appearance these guys had permission (details still fuzzy) to hunt.

I guess my thought is that lines are lines, rules are rules, and though there may (or may not) have been a way to do this whole thing better, in the end, if they were not on his land, he really doesn't have a lawful argument. Courtesy, politeness, ethics etc...maybe, but it isn't his land (he even says so).

Now if they were on his land, he certainly had a complaint, and a lawful one.

Not arguing, and totally understand your need and right to post your land. I hunt posted land and am very grateful to the landowner for allowing me on. I don't take that for granted.
