For hummer 6 mm bullets it's hard to top Larry "Hillbilly" Moore's 68 fr. flat bases. Lots of 250's with those over the years. Unfortunately Larry has stopped making bullets.
I scored 500 vintage (Kirk) Ethridge 66 gr. "driving band" ones a few years ago. They are very consistent and accurate. Shot a 250-14X in moderate-tough conditions yesterday with them at a 100 yard Score Match, at Capitol City in Augusta, ME
Then there's (Del) Bishop's 67 gr. flat bases, Lot # 5496. Very easy to tune and extremely accurate.
And don't forget Ken Hottenstein's 68 grain BT's made on a Detch Die. Very much like (Ron) Cheek's BT's ... easy to tune and extremely accurate especially at 300 yds.
The best 300 yard bullet I've ever shot is-was George Ulrich's 66 gr BT's made on Sierra jackets. Too bad he stopped making them a long time ago. I still have a few I use strictly for 300 Matches.
I have some vintage Euber 68 gr. flat base bullets that came from the estate of a fellow Score competitor. 1k is Lot #126 in the clear taped-up Tupper Ware tub, and 260 count of Lot # 67, that were loose in a small box. I would sell all 1,260.
