Retired shooter

HelloAll
Short story .Grandson home on leave from Marines ,trip to range Wed. Cool but tolerable. First stop pistol range, steel silhouettes, 15/ 50 yards. First time to shoot with grandson,( son in law strictly against fireatms). Watched grandson closely for safety, did fine, claims no Marine training with sidearm. Semi auto pistols with red dot, and some with open sites. Damned if the youngin outshot
not only me but my son also. Both of us usually 95% hits % 5 % miss. Have to give him credit 51 year younger eyes and more steady hands, but still hard to admit.

Moved to rifle range. Both son, and grandson did extremely well, proud of both, however grandpa still prevails ,even at 72.

Everyone have a great weekend. Snowing here but several firearms to clean

Have a great weekend. Snowing heavy here they're saying 6/ 8 , I have weapons to clean, will be on tractor opening roads and driveways when it stops.
