HS precision 2000 rifles Thoughts?

I’m hoping to get some feedback on the Hs 2000 series of rifles. Considering there price I’m wondering if you think there worth it? Would building off an hs be a good idea or going custom better? How do there actions compare to a remington then to a custom? Are they basically a blueprinted 700 with a Winchester safety?

The reason I’m asking is I’m doing a favor for a couple buddies that need help with selling 5 brand new Hs-precision. He purchased them 8 years ago and they are still in the box, with the tags never shot. He paid next to nothing for them and asked if I could help sell them. We would split any profits or he said I can take any which one of the 5 Hs rifles for sale and sell the remaining 4. Just wondering if I should grab one or sell all 5

What cartridges? If they are in one that is difficult to get ammo or brass for, or haven't been popular for a long time, they may be a hard sell.

Then again you could use a tried and true method of selling, put a price on them that someone, somewhere can't refuse. Take your profits and have built a rifle to suit you.

There is 2 308’s, 270. Wsm, 223 rem and a 300 win mag.

That also crossed my mind, but just figured I’d try to find more out about the Hs rifles or don’t even bother with them and do what you said

What kind of warrantee do these have? I've just come from the H-S web site and see no warrantee stated except for 30 days, and your opening post says these rifle were originally purchased 8 yrs ago. If there's a problem of some sort, who's gonna' stand behind these? Rifles in this price range need some sort of warrantee.

I see you are from Canada, can you ship these guns to the US< I have no clue on the laws.
If you can, on the link hogpatrol provided, look at he ads, a couple from First Stop Guns, call them, they are 3 miles from HS headquarters and sell a lot of HS guns.

Canada!? From my understanding, prices are much different in Canada than they are in the US. It also seems to me that rifles for sale that would arrive from Canada would require they come through a licensed importer, who also, doesn't provide his services for free.

Sell the overpriced 40 yard grouped JUNK to the first idiot that comes down the pike & walk away.

L.H. their spokesperson should be incarcerated.

I've got several of their rifles as well as a custom BAT built on one their 10x barrels. Everyone I have shoots as well as any custom rifle I've bought or built. Yes the price was high back when I bought mine but far from the BS people are paying nowadays. Dropping $5000 for a modern custom rifle is crazy. But that is just my opinion. I'm sure others will argue differently. Scott
