Howdy, from a not so "United" Kingdom

I'm Lee. Born 1967 in Portsmouth, UK.

Started shooting "real" guns at the age of 17, when I bought several handguns (wheel-guns & semi's).

Home-loaded my ammo from that date...until the [expletive] handgun ban hit the UK.

I then moved over to semi-automatic rifles rifles...until the [expletive] semi-automatic rifle ban hit the UK.

I then moved over to bolt, lever and single shot rifles and have shot and reloaded them ever since.

As a registered firearms dealer, I'm fortunate enough to have access to many different types of firearm that the law allows here in the UK (which is far fewer than I'd like).

In my own personal collection, I reload and regularly shoot - .22 Hornet, 6.5 Creedmoor, .308 .35-55 & .45-70, 12 & 410 shotguns. Most of my firearms wear sound suppressors as they're just fine in UK law!

I shoot mainly deer, foxes, rabbits, geese & pigeons and with the exception of the fox, I eat em all. I'm also an avid cook, both in the kitchen and out in the field and as I only live ¼ mile from the sea, I do a lot of fishing. Mostly for Sea Bass.

Been hunting & fishing since I was as tall as Yoda and been "rollin my own" for the past 35-years...but I'm still learning.

You will be welcomed. The anti-gun crowd is afoot here in the USA as well. I am now 80 years old and no longer get out to hunt but still enjoy target shooting. Good luck with you endeavors
