Howa Mini actions, custom chamberings, max OAL?

If you are wanting to true it, it is worth converting it to a 24 tpi.
Just for everybody’s info, the threads ran out about what you would find in a typical Remington, and the action face at least .002 with the bolt way.

So it was worth doing.

And now I can play around with different barrels and chamberings if desired..

I only have had time to put about a dozen shots through it but it seems to nicely accurate.

Bought my lathe in '92 and I seem to remember it had 2 or 3 gears in a box to convert to metric threads.
Have no idea where those gears are at this point.. I guess I could have just bought a new PM 1342, lol.
