Howa Mini Action Rifles..

Has anyone tried this rifle out? I've searched the web and this forum and haven't turned up much for reviews. Says its only 7 pounds that's exactly what I've been searching for. Im looking at it in 6.5 Grendal (the one with the AR chassis). Here's a link:https://www.sportsmans.com/shooting-gear-gun-supplies/rifles/howa-mini-bolt-action-rifle/p/1506541

There have several threads related to the Howa Mini-action on this forum. However, the best answer is on the 6.5Grendel forum, where there is a detailed thread (pages of feedback) on this topic.

I shoot a CZ 527 as my 600 yd. Mid-range rifle which is very similar to the Howa. I love it. Mine is in .223 with 90 gr. bullets and has shot VERY well in that capacity. The Howa comes with a decent trigger and good barrels and should fill your needs.

Brownell's has the Howa Mini barreled action in 6.5 Grendel on sale for about $375 and free shipping.
I bought one last year when they were on sale for $329. Bought a Boyd's stock for $129. I have about $475 in a rifle that will shoot 4 in. 5 shot groups at 500 yards after I found a load it liked. I shoot it off a bipod. It would probably do better if I installed a bag rider and used a rest and a better scope.

I have one of the grendels in a youth model. Decked out with a 6.5/20 leupold full mag and a sling it weighs 7 lbs. The other day I shot it out to 700 yds with great success. For $349 and 27 grains of powder per shot how much more fun could one have.

I HAVE A HOWA MINI IN A 6.5 GRENDAL 20'' HB WITH DIP BOTTOM METAL B/C STOCK WITH A 3X16X42 30MM SIGHTRON STAC THAT SHOOTS LIGHTS OUT WITH H-335 AND 90GR SPEER HP'S MY DEER LOAD IS H-335 WITH 100GR BARNES TTSX THAT I USED THIS MORNING FITS AND FEELS AS GOOD AS ANY OF MY MODEL 7'S DO

My wife has one in a AT one stock. The stock sucks but is functional. The rifle it is solid. Very accurate for a factory tube. We do need to find a 20 moa base because with the scope she is running we do not have enough elevation to shoot as far as we would like.

I have one in 222 Rem and one in 6.5 Grendel. Nice shooting little rifles. The bottom "plastic" and magazine are the big negative on these guns.
