Howa mini-action 6.5 grendal

Now thats pretty cool! I didn't know there were any factory offerings of 6.5 Grendel. I had usually only seen it in AR platforms and this is the first I had heard that they were offering it on their mini-action.
I love the cartridge, it shoots pretty damn well out of my gas gun. In fact its one of the more consistently accurate rifles I own (which is ironic since its an ugly Frankenstein of a rifle). Don't see anything on a ship date, only that it is "soon".

On the Grendel forum there are a couple threads about this little rifle. Last I saw was Legacy Sports was to receive them June 20, once received they would start shipping them out. A lot of this first shipment I think has been preordered for a while.
Howa is the first manufacture to bring the 6.5 Grendel to the market in a bolt action rifle. Cudos to them for taking that step. Those of us that wanted a bolt action Grendel have had to go the route of rebarreling other guns to it. Most have used boltactions that were made for either PPC cartridges or 7.62X39, those were mostly Savage, CZ, Ruger, Remington, Sako or the little Mini-Mausers.
