Howa 1500 / Vanguard 2-stage

Looking at Howas / Weatherbys latest catalogue ( /www.weatherby.com/vanguardseries2/) theres a factory mag conversion, and a 2-stage trigger now listed ..... ;D
Its rated for 2.5lb and looking at the picture seems a possible retro-fit. ...
Whilst i have seen a CG unit (but not in Howa fit : ), this looks quite different ...Can any knowledgeable person shed any light on its likely effectiveness?

I don't know about the trigger you are asking about, but I have talked to John Huber at Huber Concepts a few times about doing a 2-stage trigger for a Howa 1500 / Vanguard. He seems to feel it might be real similar to a Mauser 98k and so pretty easy to do. I've been planning to send him the trigger group from my Howa 1500, but I'm still waiting for it to be finished (6 months and counting).

I've got a 2-stage for a Rem 700 from him and it's really an outstanding trigger.

Hope I didn't get too far off topic for you, but maybe it's another option...

Have been following the Howa trigger story since a CG 2-stage was mooted, llooking at the Huebner it also seems an option, at least i get to enjoy mine while waiting!
Options are always good and Howas own seems to be here n now... not being over technical i was hoping someone could comment on the offering
