Not at all. Like I said, I saw no real difference in any thing done with the nose of the bolt. I like a fairly close fit because I think it does a better job of sealing in gas and may help to retain the extractor if the action has one which could be blown out. By the way, I always thought that an insert, shaped to fit over the locking lugs on the bolt, would be an excellent way to prevent a Sako extractor from being blown out. I should slap a patent on that puppy!
I have been told by some that any contact between the bolt and barrel was detrimental to accuracy but that has not been my experience when the bolt was deliberately fitted close on the circumference. WH
