In the next year I plan on rebuilding my .25-06 into a long range deer gun. Going with the .25-06 AI just because I have about 11 or 1200 115 Bergers.
Here are a few questions I have to ask.
Howa hard would it be to cut the metric threads on the action to standard? Is it even possible?
I plan on having the barrel melonited after chambering and threading. Would I still be able to apply Duracoat?
Does someone like PTG or others make bolts for the Howa 1500? I couldn't find any so far.
Been trying to get ahold of McMillan to see if they'll inlet for a Howa action. Just wondering if others have done this?
Thanks for looking!
