How?

My buddies and I (me and 2 others total) are wanting to shoot some PD's but none of us have ever done this. We have the guns and ability to shoot but no idea how to get to a good shooting spot with permission. We shoot F-Class out to 1000 yards, but need help with this proposed adventure.

From what little I know we need plenty of ammo, shooting benches, range finders, more than one gun each, and water. Our problem is where to go and how to find the dogs and get permission to shoot.

We are in Arkansas and will drive so ideally Kansas or Oklahoma area. Can someone give us an idea how to go with as little problems as possible.

Any help would be appreciated.

Shooting benches are not required, but nice to have if you are in a spot you can set them up.
I have 2 guys from the board here right now in town and due to the areas Im setting them up the only way to shoot is off sticks or prone on a roll out mat for a bit of comfort. Most areas I have a person is going to have to be able to pack all their goods in on their backs up to a mile, and be in good health to even walk that far in and out. I would suggest you be confident in prone, sitting positions also.
ALL p-dog shooting is unfortunately not right off the road and from the bench like many think it is out here.
The guys were north of town and looking over state land when a local rancher stopped to see what they were doing (ranchers do that when they see unknown people about their lands) and when they said " we are looking to shoot p-dogs on state land" he invited them onto his ranch and they were able to shoot a lot of them.
I have them set up in 3 big towns for the next 2 days on public spots, but they again will be walking in a mile or more BUT will into p-dogs like maggots on a carcass.
