I have a buddy who bought a savage 12 LRPV chambered in 22/250. After messing with a bit we decided to swap barrels and ordered a criterion and go/no gauges. Much better results. There is about 20-25 rounds down new barrel. He put a Murphy stainless picatinney rail on it. Anyway he has some unplanned issues which result in trying to sell this rifle.
My question is the rifle itself is pretty darn near perfect. New and stock barrel are here.
How do we come up with an asking price that won’t be offensive and also won’t loss a boat load of his investment.
Sorry if this is a silly question I just have never sold a complete rifle.
Thank you for the time.
Appreciate it.
