How to get powder granules out of the hole under the ChargeMaster 1500 weighing platform

Despite my best efforts to keep powder granules from falling onto the weighing platform on my RCBS ChargeMaster 1500, some do, and some, a few, fall into the hole (see pic) that holds the black plastic weighing platform (the platen?) (not the metallic powder pan which rests on the top of the black plastic weighing platform). The accumulated granules in that hole add to the weight of the powder pan forcing me to re-zero the powder pan (which I have to do intermittently anyway) to get an accurate powder load. What's the best way to remove the granules that have fallen into that hole. I have tried small tweezers but that didn't work. I am considering removing the scale from the powder loader and turning the scale upside down to hopefully dump the granules out of the hole. Any thoughts on how to remove the granules from that hole?

I have had the same issues at times. I have turned the unit upside-down to let gravity do its job, brushed with a tiny artist's brush to dislodge stuck granules and have even used a can of compressed air made for blowing dust from electronics. All work, depending on the circumstances, and I hesitate to use a vacuum cleaner for fear of affecting the spring/balance tension of the platen.
