Looking at a .243 or 6br with a 1:8 26" barrel for those very reasons.

A 1-7.5 twist is suggested for a 6CM. I guess I should have posted that, sorry. You can get away with a 1-7.80. Pre-fits are easier to get your hands on in twist and calibers your looking at, and cheaper.
