how to attract SQUIRRELS?

Go buy a $40,000 pick up truck and park it in the driveway. They will be chewing wires in no time.

I've had them chew plastic trash cans, storage tubs, chairs, kids' swing seats, and sliding board but the worst was a bbq grill on my deck. It had a 20 lb. propane tank underneath. Decided to grill some burgers, opened the valve on the tank, turned the valve for the burners, lit the grill and the whole unit was engulfed in flames, top and bottom. Squirrels had chewed a hole in the rubber hose. Fortunately my long sleeve gloves were handy and I was able to reach in and shut off the tank. Hoses are now tightly wrapped in tinfoil.

I hate to ask, but I just have to, why in the world do you want to attract squirrels?

They will just eat the germ out of the corn kernel. Shell bark hickory nuts work really well, just takes some work to get them. Black walnuts as well, but will turn your hands black from the skin covering them.

I actually had this happen to me, with a jeep cherokee and a fox squirrel!

The wife's car was running very sluggish and rich. I took the air plenum off to check the filter and it was packed solid with acorns. There were about five coffee cans of acorns packed in there. She lets me shoot every one I see now.

Be careful. They can get awfully comfortable, especially if there are no cats or dogs in the house. Rabbits too, caught this one lounging near the deck.

I think you are very clever and know that those tree rats will begin chewing on all kinds of stuff and then you will have to go out and purchase a new air rifle to protect your property.. Very smart!!

Always wanted a squirrel dog.

I was so hard after squirrels when younger,bought a new 1100 in 410. That thing could clear out a patch of woods faster than not.Little flour and cook'm in an iron skillet then dip in bbq sauce. Hillbilly wings.

So do mice in your garage , and when one gets into your dashboard and dies, you are looking at big money to pull the dash and find that stinking dead thing and reassemble your dash ! Same with your lawn mower in your shed in wintertime. Almost guaranteed to build a nest after chewing the wiring !

had to tow my truck 3 times because of these tree rats. One morning I shot 6 with the 22 Hornet before work. That 35 grain vmax is explosive.
