How tight is too tight?

Very new to custom barrels & neck turning for same. Recently bought a couple rifles in 6br, 1 is a no turn, other is a 262 neck. Was given 50 pre turned cases with the 262, ready to load. Shot 30 & was going to resize, when I noticed that I couldn't push a bullet down the neck of a fired case by hand. Decided to load 15 of these without doing anything but cleaning the inside of the case neck. They actually grouped tighter than the first batch I loaded with the fully prepped & sized cases. No pressure signs I can see. Questioning whether there is any problem with doing this repeatedly as long as I check length from time to time. Any thoughts?
Thanks,
Mark

Measure the diameter of one of the loaded rounds around the bullet area of the neck. This is the dimension you will need to determine if what you are doing will work and for how long. Alot of fitted neck guns are designed to be reloaded without sizing. You will eventually have to resize the base and push the shoulder back when they get too tight, but this may be 3 shots and may be 10 shots depending on the chamber size, load selection, age of brass and other factors. Measure one, post the result here and someone will give you their opinion.

Measured cases with bullets seated. Both sized & just fired & reloaded measure 262, same as what's stamped on the barrel.
Been using 30 grains of Varget & 80gr Bergers so far, haven't run any ladder loads yet.

After sizing them and reseating a bullet they measure .262? You're going too have some issues if thats the case. Are you sure with a sized case and bullet seated they're .262?

Reckon I'll borrow the 1" mic from work & recheck
If they were really the same width as the chamber, I'm guessing they wouldn't slide in very easily.
