How short is too short? 6BR brass

Had someone give me a bunch of Lapua 6BR brass that he claims was trimmed too short. So what would be too short? Wouldn’t it grow a little with a few firings and sizing? I’d probably have to make sure there wasn’t a carbon ring forming in the chamber/throat…. but what are your thoughts?

They are correct. The original 6mm Br Remington had a max length of 1.520".
the 6mm BR Norma came out in 1995 and increased length to 1.560"

I know this as I used to have a gun built in 6BR in 1992 and had the Remington chamber. But it was rebarreled in 1998 with the norma chamber. Other than a possibility of a carbon ring, you should have no problems.
