So it's true, this is the geriatric ward of internet gun forums. Just kidding!

41 here :P

In most cases, it is the retiree who has the time and wherewithal to do a lot of shooting and "experimenting". This is how we learn and can pass on to others who have not yet reached that goal. It could save them some aggravation and frustration, not to mention dollars saved from learning from our expensive mistakes! I have learned A LOT on here and hope that I can pass on something to someone here..

I agree 100% That's why I'm here. As i said, just kidding :)

I never took it any other way my friend..

Was born 9 months before the Japanese bombed Pearl Harbor.

I got to grow up and learn from the best marksmanship instructors in the world at the USAAMU at Ft. Benning, Ga.

Been a FANTASTIC run! ;D :)

Anytime someone thinks that they can't learn from a younger generation just shows total ignorance!! :(

+1 ;)

Wow, lots of others here in the same age group.....born in the late Jurassic Period...1946 for me. All of our toys back then were scaled and modeled after guns of WWII, we all ran around "killing" Japs and Germans. Now ask kids of high school age who actually won WWII.....the answers scare me.

I'll be 69 in a few months, and after 28 corrective surgeries (Vietnam, plane crash, bike/car wrecks -two life-saving), I've got enough titanium in me to start production on a F-15 airframe. But now retired, it gives me the time I've always wanted to spend in the field or at my bench. I've even got the time now to fondle those 'forgotten' rifles in the back of the safe! ;)

Life is good, and we're lucky to be living in these times.

Old enough to know better, too young to care......46 in November.

Some day`s I feel 80 others 25, just the way life is I guess.

Phil.

My dad was in WW-II and spent two years aand nine months over seas. I joined the Army 19 years after he got out. I was 17 when I joined. Can remember thinking just how long it had been since Dad was in. It seemed like a century. Spent two years in Germany and then volunteered to go to Vietnam. Was there for a year starting in 1966 and it seemed to go by in a month. We worked like "rented mules" and next thing you know it was time to come home and time has flew by ever since.

I am a happy old man of 68 and try to make every day a great one. Have a granddaughter who will be 20 this month and she is healthy and isn't on drugs or had any run-ins with the law. Life is good and one of the good things is sharing this website with so many good people.

66 here - Was an April fools baby and my mother never quit pulling pranks on my BD until the day she died.

Still love shooting, reloading and learning how to do them all better.

38 for a few more months.

Spend a lot of time reading and learning here. Try to get out and shoot at least a couple rounds every day. Really appreciate the wealth of information on this forum.

I'm 50, still fighting fires, shooting, reloading and learning a lot from you younger and older folks for the last 5 years, Thanks!!!

Almost time to give it up. I retired at 45 (broken back- work related) and still miss it everyday. Not work when you love the JOB.

I won’t tell you how old the individual members of Team Berger are but 5 of the 6 are Grand Seniors (most well on their way to Super Grand Senior status) and the youngster is a senior (he gets to carry the heavy stuff :)

Before you ask “Super Grand Senior” is what I call shooters 80 and over.

I'll be 68 on August 10th. Last spring I cut and split (with a splitting axe) 15 cord of Oak and Maple firewood for this winter. I don't know how much longer I can do that, but I'll keep at it till I can't do it anymore. Been loading since 1977, hunting all my life, and so far it's been a good one. Barlow

Looking at 79 come December. Still shooting 600 yd./ 50/50 . 22 matches and trying to get my 65 Ranchero up and running.
Hang in there 'OLD GUYS RULE'.

Don't mess with us old folks.

A police officer called the station on his radio.

"I have an interesting case here. An old lady shot her husband for stepping on the floor she just mopped."

"Have you arrested the woman?"

"Not yet. The floor's still wet." ;)
