How old are you?

First let me say that I am 73 years old. When I filled out my profile during registration for this forum I did like most folks and did not give my age. Now I find from time to time that I go to a forum member's profile to look for their age but normally it is just N/A. I am not profiling but sometimes history matters and knowing a persons age is relevant to the communications. Young folks probably feel like they will get no respect if they give their age and probably old folks like me may feel the same. One relevant fact is that it is different having lived thru history than just reading about it. Folks my age probably will not give the younger folks as much respect when they provide information but just look at Bryan Litz, how young is he and everyone listens when he speaks. Now where am I going with this, no place much, mostly just making an observation. Take care, Clyde.

Clyde,
How about filling your birth date in your profile. That should fill in your age. 63 for me, as stated in my profile. I got nothing to hide, and no one to impress, except my family and friends.

I'm 58, but I was rode hard and put away wet for most of those years. Good points in your post. Maybe there is a little of the dating site mentality to it, where ya post an old pic and act half your age.😉

I did try to go back and edit and enter my age but could not figure out how to do it, probably due to my age.

I am 34 and I am on here to learn. I think that anyone regardless of age that thinks they know everything is very close minded. Often times it is a combination of new technology and older wisdom that works the best for me.

28... Im a young gun. Most of my time on here is spent paying attention the the wiser and more knowledgeable folks.

Clyde I'm 66 as of last April. Ought to be 67 come next April....

As for Brian Litz & his credibility, well... let's leave it alone after agreeing he's an exceptional young man. He's advanced this sport quite nicely since appearing on the scene a few years ago.

If this game we play isn't rocket science, it's as close as most of us will get to that level of physics. Brian's 'been there, done that' and willing to share what he came away with.

And yes I'm proud to count him among my friends, alongside many others here.

I am 61 yrs old now. I really like this age. I am retired, yet still in decent enough shape to do all the things I love doing.

I'm still a kid at heart but kinda beat up for a 56 year old. Thank you blue collar! I started shooting in my mid 20's and quickly found myself surrounded by others my age that were as ambitious as myself! Got lucky I guess but had a ton of fun back then and we could move mountains at will! The most aggressive bunch in the NMLRA and they were a fine bunch of fellows. After many ups and downs I went to centerfire for trigger time and sold most of my equipment. I try to instill the old school of shooting because of the core fact that you are the one pulling the trigger and the finest rifle is a waste in the wrong hands. This boils down fast on the firing line but I've seen some poor shooters become dynomite with relentless practice , so I keep pushing everyone around me so I can get better too! Great sport!

I've been to the top of the mountain. And ...Both sides look the same! Turned 70 this past June and just trying my best.

76 here ;D : . Ben reloading 60 years. Hunted 66 years. Shot more bullets in the last 6 years then I did in the first 60 years several times over.
Ben married 53 years. Yes she knows bullets are $4.00 a box and 50# of powder is $37.50
Biggest pleasure I get is I my Grand Kids & Great Grand Kids. For my birthday 4 generations of us went to the gun range Shooting.
This Saturday like many others you will see 3 generations of at Manatee Gun Club.
Hunting Shooting & Fishing is a big part of our life. Larry
