Bore Tech Rimfire Blend is the cleaner specifically for rimfire. According to the manufacturer, Rimfire Blend is different because it is formulated to remove wax lubricant from the bore.



Bore Tech doesn't make that specific claim with regard for Eliminator (although it may do it just the same). Eliminator does things usually not required when shooting match .22LR ammo.

The eliminator is copper solvent, no need with oiled lead 22 bullets it’s an oil based solvent, lubricant works great highly recommend it and the best part is no smell like some of the other chemicals.

I also only thoroughly clean mine when the accuracy starts to decline. I’ll run a patch or two through it when switching between ammos.

While much depends on the quality of the rifle and the ultimate use, not cleaning a precision rifle just isn't going to happen at my house. Here's some light reading (35+ pages) on the subject:
