how much speed will 6mm 105 VLD Hunting take

trying to decide on what case to use,,I want to push the 105 VLD Hunting bullet as fast as possible and it be accurate and not explode in flight,,but dont want to use a bigger case than I need to get that speed,,

will it take all the pressure a 6mm-06 or 6-284 will provide ??

Just my oberservation though, I haven't seen any 6mm bullet over 105 grains fly accurately after 3150fps. I've tried all Bergers and matrix and they all seem to have bad vertical or accuracy deminish after 3050fps.

I'd be interested to hear others on this

I have noticed that about 105 Hybrids, 105 VLD Hunting, and Nosler Competition too out of 2 different rifles, a 243 AI and a 6-284. At least in these 2 rifles those bullets don't shoot as well over 3150.

I been shooting them at 3,150 FPS and have had great results on targets and deer size game.my group size at 100 yards have been around 1/4" three shot groups and well under 1/2" for 5 shot groups. I have turned in one 2 3/4" 3 shot group at 700 yards but mostly in the 3.5'' to 4.5''group range at 700 yards and that's at 3,150 to 3,180 FPS. 105 Hunting VLD so quite good I think.

A few guy's were shooting them out of a 6-284 at 3,350 FPS and I know for sure they were hitting prairie dogs in the 5-600 yard range with them and quite sure they had shot a few mule deer and antelope.
